Can animations be changed in read-only PPT files? Read only as in password protected from modification? No. You can't modify the content since it has been password protected from modification. You will need to key in the password to edit the presentation. Stephanie. If you have a legit reason to modify the animations eg its your file and you've forgotten the password. Then email me the file and I'll tell you the password.
