I am using PowerPoint 2003 and looking for instructions on how to change
horizontal text to vertical text. I looked it up in the Help menu and it
gave me instructions to use a button on the formatting toolbar. I don't have
a button that looks like that and I didn't find it under customize either.

Am I doing something wrong?

I think you will need to install support for Japanese to get this (or maybe
some other Asian languages)

(Start > All progs>microsoft office> office tools > language tools))

Installing the Japanese language did the trick - Thank you!
