In PPT 2007 you'll be able to do this ... indents are more like the Word model;
one set of indents per paragraph rather than per text box.
Currently, one set of indents applies to the entire text box. You may have seen
what LOOKS like multiple indents but is actually a set of the needed indents for
each type of text, all jumbled together. If you know what you're doing and why,
it's not so hard to make it work but it's a beast to explain to a newbie. <g>
What you may want to do is dupe the existing text box then delete half the text
from the original, the other half from the dupe and apply indents as required to
each.
