I just made a copy of a project that I'm working on and saved it with
a pps extension and sent it to the 'client'  :-)

She can't hear the sound and neither can somebody else that I sent it
to.

When I play the file (the one with the PPS extension)  I hear the
sound with no problem.

The sound is midi and is in the same folder as the photos - everything
is in one folder.

I'm using PP 2007

Any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks,

Mike

Mike,

Is the 'sound' embedded within the pps file?

If it's not did you sent the sound file to the 'other people' ?
see
Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation

no it wasn't embedded and I just resent a zipped up folder to both
people concerned after checking out you link.

Sadly some of the very nice transitions do not seem availabe in
earlier versions (I'm using 2007) of PP.

Such is life, thanks,

Mike

I did email it to you but it may have been after you left. Also I will
be making changes and adding shots so I don't know if 'embedding' will
help at this stage ?

have a nice weekend and thanks,

Mike

Mike I got the email and I'm (just) still here. What I need is the midi file
and I'll work it so it can be embedded in your presentation. If you send it
I'll be dropping in tomorrow or Sunday.
