Is there a way to animate portions of an organizational chart in PowerPoint? First, add the effect (Slide Show > Custom Animation) on the org chart. Double click on the added effect. Click on Diagram animation tab. Select "Each Level, shape by shape". Ok your way out. Now, you will see a down arrow on the custom animation pane. Click on the down arrow, delete those that you do not want it to animate.
