Hello.
I am a church projectionist that that has fallen into a small $$ windfall.
I am looking to upgrade the projection computer by adding a 2nd video card
and monitor.  Would that not allow me to send the 'presentation mode'
powerpoint to the projection while also seeing the 'slide sort mode' on the
2nd monitor?  Somewhere along the line I got that impression.  Can someone
please enlighten me as to whether this is doable on a WinXP Powerpoint 2003
system?  Any other insights would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Yes - if you have two monitors (which the two cards will give you), you can
show the slide presentation on one monitor and either the slide sorter view
or presenter view on the second one. However, if I understand your current
setup, you don't need the second monitor to do this. You can plug the
projector into the second video card and extend the desktop to there. If you
have the second monitor, you may be able to send the output from that
monitor as well as the projector... but that would require extra cables...
