Hi there,
I formatted my slide master by checking the "Slide Number" box in the
Placeholder menu.  A text box appears with <#> and I formatted by changing
font, etc.
However, when I go back to normal view, I don't see the page number at all.
Even when I insert a new slide, i.e. to make sure it wasn't being obscured by
existing text boxes, images, etc., the page no. still did not appear.
Can anybody help?
Thanks!

Hi Melissa

Try this

View menu > header & footer

Tick the box "slide number"

Did that answer the question / help?
