MS Office Forum / General PowerPoint Questions / September 2006Printing problem
Hi All, I have a printing problem in PowerPoint that I am sure has been raised before if I could find it! I have a technical drawing scanned into PowerPoint, it is part colour and part B&W. When printing it on a colour laserjet printer the picture is printed okay, however when printing it to an Inkjet printer the image is printed with a black background and the only detail showing is the coloured items. My customer is a surveyor and needs to print these types of items regularly to his own inkjet printer. Can someone help? Is this to do with grayscale settings etc?  SignatureK Hogwood-Thompson Shot in the dark but try cutting the image (keep a copy obviously!) and paste special as a png file, see if that helps. Is this to do with grayscale settings etc? It sounds as if you're printing in color, so the B/W settings on the objects (the ones you set when in B/W or Grayscale view) wouldn't apply. Those only come into play when you print in black and white or grayscale (which you select when you go to File|Print).
