Hi All,
I have a printing problem in PowerPoint that I am sure has been raised
before if I could find it!
I have a technical drawing scanned into PowerPoint, it is part colour and
part B&W. When printing it on a colour laserjet printer the picture is
printed okay, however when printing it to an Inkjet printer the image is
printed with a black background and the only detail showing is the coloured
items. My customer is a surveyor and needs to print these types of items
regularly to his own inkjet printer.
Can someone help? Is this to do with grayscale settings etc?

Shot in the dark but try cutting the image (keep a copy obviously!) and paste
special as a png file, see if that helps.
Assuming theyre not NASA plans or otherwise highly confidential I'd be happy
to take a look at an emailed page ( We have colour laser and a variety of
inkjets)

It sounds as if you're printing in color, so the B/W settings on the objects
(the ones you set when in B/W or Grayscale view) wouldn't apply. Those only
come into play when you print in black and white or grayscale (which you
select when you go to File|Print).
