I am trying to embed a windows media file into my ppp. When I insert, movie
from file and select the WMV it plays from the CD adn won't allow me to save
it as if it were embedded.

Then when I click on that slide, the blue frame goes to white and nothing
occurs. Any suggestions?

AFAIK, Powerpoint does not embed movies - only links.

It is, I would download pfcmedia (theres a fully functioning trial) and use
that to insert the video and then package for cd to make the CD. You might
try the save to folder option and then burn the contents of the folder (not
the folder) with whatever you usually use
