Where can I make the "File Open" window default to the "Details" view?  It
always opens to the "Preview" view, which drives me crazy!  My Excel and Word
always open in the "Details" view, but I cannot locate where to change the
setting for PowerPoint.

Help!

Try opening windows explorer. Make sure that youre in details view
Tools > folder options> view>apply to all folders> OK out. Several folk have
said this doesnt work but it did for me!
