I have tried inserting songs that will not play in a presentaion. Other songs that I insert will play. Other songs > that I insert will play. Why do certain songs not play? Hi Sandy thanks for your response. A little bit more information my side. I am using PowerPoint 2000. The files that I am trying to insert are .mp3 format. I have no problem playing the files with other programs ie media player. Also some of the .mp3's from the same CD play in the presentation with no problem, but others songs wont play. They are inserted with no problems. I have even tried to change the location of the song source original CD (insert CD track) & from My Music folder. I have even tried to insert the song as the first thing I do in a new presentation after select the slide type, but still will noy play. You mention a 32 bit PowerPoint viewer. I am a little lost as I have not come acros this before. Would this assist in the playing of mps's? If so, could you inform me in basic level terms how to go about this. Many thanks for your assistance in this very frusterating matter. If so, some of them undoubtedly have Digital Rights Managment and Powerpoint will NOT play them. Austin, I have tried from CD & music I have legally downloaded. Some work some dont. What I dont understand is why certain tracks will play & certain tracks wont play from the same source.
