Switching to the next slide on single click

Hello! Each slide of my Power Point 2003 presentation contains animated
AutoShape object - quad arrow that appears on each slide and makes full spin
(360 degrees) clockwise repeatedly until end of slide. When I left-click
during the slide show, the next slide doesn't appear. But the second click
does switch to the next slide. Without spinning arrow slides are switched
normally, on single click. But with spinning arrow, double click is required.
I've tried inserting "Next"action button, and clicking on that button
switches to the next slide perfectly. But using such button is no good for me
:( I just want slides to be switched on single left-click.

The custom animation settings for the quad arrow are:
Effect name: Spin
Effect options:
Amount: 360 deg. clockwise
Smooth Start: No
Smooth End: No
Auto-reverse: No
Sound: No Sound
After Animation: Don't Dim
Timing options:
Start: With Previous
Delay: 0 seconds
Speed: 11,0 seconds
Repeat: Until End Of Slide
Rewind when done playing: n/a
Triggers: animate as part of click sequence.

So, please, can anybody help me to switch to the next slide on single click?
Thanks in advance.
Saf.

If you wait for the autoshape to finish animating its first 360 degrees, then
do a mouse click, you will be able to proceed on to the next slide. By having
a mouse click before it finishes its first spin(360 degrees), you are telling
PowerPoint to end the first spin earlier and not proceeding to the next slide.

One way you can do is to add a rectangle, then set the fill to 99%
transparency and with no line color. This will make the rectangle
'invisible'. Resize the rectangle so that it covers the entire slide. Right
click on the rectangle, select action settings. Have it hyperlink to the next
slide.

Yeah, indeed, slides are switched on single mouse click after the completion
of the full spin (360 deg.) of the autoshape.
tohlz, many thanks to you.
