I created four title and text masters in my presentation. I am using
one title and text master on most of the program but want to use one of
the other title/text designs here and there. When I look on the Slide
Design task pane, I can see thumbnails of the four alternative text
templates, but if I click on the one associated with the title master I
want to use, it converts the entire program to that title/text
combinate. Is there a way to mix and match? I cknow I can use change
the background on the title slide to one of my alternative designs, but
I wanted to use the masters if possible. Should I save each title and
text template individually in the masters rather than as pairs? Thanks!

Rebecca,
Have you tried selecting the slides you want to apply the master to, then
clicking on the little arrow next to the thumbnail of that master in the
task pane and choose apply to selected slides?

Instead of clicking on the thumbnail, hover over the thumbnail so that a down
arrow appears. Click on the arrow, then select Apply to selected Slide/s.

Thought I had tried this, but I must not have done it correctly -
worked great, thanks to you both!
