I want to change the spacing between the 1-inch gridlines in PowerPoint,
however when following the instructions the only thing that changes are the
spaces between the dots in the gridlines.  Any solution, or is this not
possible?

Casey

What you describe is normal.

The grid is composed of dots at the spacing you set but for clarity only the
dots that lie at 2 cm / 1" spacing are displayed. Objects will snap to
invisible dots though!

If you desperatly want lines display >guide lines and ctrl drag them to line
up with the grid. Note you cant have more than 8 in each direction
