Copyright policy on downloaded powerpoint templates? (Use at a N.

I downloaded a cool looking template for powerpoint (the science fair project
one) and I want to use it for a presentation. However, my presentation will
be at a NATIONAL CONFERENCE so it is not for "personal use," but rather, a
large "public" will see it. What is the copyright or terms of use policy for
the templates? Can I just credit the creators at the end of the
presentation? How can I find out who the creators were? It's a very nice
looking template, but from the looks of it, the backgrounds and design was
homemade by someone, and I want to give them proper credit. I also don't
want to violate any rules.

Your best bet is to revisit the place where you downloaded the template
from.

Have a look around the website, does it mention what you can and can't do
with their work?

If, not try emailing the site in question.
