Embedding Sounds in PowerPoint File

I'm creating a PowerPoint presentation that I will need to give on a
different computer.  So I want the sound files to be embedded in the
PowerPoint file.  There are five sound files involved.

I have used Tools -> Options to set the size of the files to be linked,
rather than embedded, to something that is larger than the size of any of the
five files.

Four of the five files end up properly embedded.  But the fifth file insists
on being linked, not embedded, even though it is smaller than some of the
files that have properly embedded.  The only difference I can see is that it
is an .MP3 file, whereas the others are all .WAV files.

What to do?

Thanks,

Jon

wav is the only media you can embed, all others are linked.

You can embed mp3 files if you change the header. Instructions here (its not
hard!)
