I have a powerpoint presentation that i need to have converted to a word
document with the ratio of 1 slide : 1 page with formatting left preserved,
and still allow for corrections to be made by someone else, who does not have
powerpoint. HELP!!!

It's not gonna happen. You'll have to reformat manually. Probably if you set
up styles in Word, it will make your life easier. But it's not going to help
when you have to get the content back into PPT....
