I have Office XP SBE (which has no Powerpoint) so I've bought Powerpoint 2003
and now can't get it to run.

When you inert the PowerPoint CD it should automatically begin the Setup
procedure confirming that you want to install it on your computer. If this
is not happening try going to your CD drive, and running the setup program.

"Can't get it to run means" what?  You can't install it?  You can start it
after installation?  You can't run a presentation?

Turns out the problem was a trial version of Office on my PC, which prevented
the ppt 2003 installing properly.  I fixed it by uninstalling all Office
versions and re-installing the XP SBE.

Thanks
