Hi John,
Thanks for trying but that doesn't work either. I made sure that the font in
the outline was the same as the font in the presentation before inserting.
Once I changed the master, the only slide effected was the one that was there
before inserting. Rather aggravating as the inserted slides make up the
majority of the presentation. It would seem that there would be some
alternative...

Forget my earlier answer I misread the ?. This was for "send to powerpoint"
If you insert slides from outline the font should follow the master. Are you
sure in the word outline that title text is just set to heading1 and other
text to heading 2 heading 3 etc
