I'm trying to make a fairly long credit roll but it stops after about a page
and a half.

I seem to remember doing this a while back without a problem and then it
included pictures as well as text.

Can anyone offer advice?

Credits has a limit of 2 slide heights

Try placing the text box just above the slide and using "fly in from bottom"
Set the speed to 15 secs or even slower Make sure that text animation is set
to "one object"

Have you move the textbox out of the slide? There should be no text on the
slide itself.

I've tried that but the scroll starts half way through and still stops
before the end.

Are you using Add Effect > Entrance > Fly In, then set the direction to "From
Bottom"?

What version of ppt is it? Ive just tried a 4 screen fly in in 2003 sp2 and
it worked fine. Note that as Tohlz said ALL the textbox needs to be off the
top of the screen

You can send me a copy of the credits slide if you want too

I just did this with 65 names and pictures I put all my information at the
top of the slide used the Effect Crawl, Entrance from the bottom each item
timing was With Previous, then set the scroll speed in my case it was 15
seconds so that when one name was leaving the slide another was coming in
and adjust the delay time to what ever is good for you in my pres, the delay
time for the first name was 0 and the last was 409 seconds. Hope this with
what everyone else has suggested helps.

Seems like there is a limit which cuts off first half of the content . I have
encountered this once before, not sure the exact problem though. I have
divided the credits into two parts to resolve the problem. But maybe someone
know of a better solution?

Changing the widescreen page set up seems to make it work

Shawn;

I know my method works with upwards of 150 text Boxes. I have not
encountered any problem yet.there is always a first time. <g>
