I have inserted a wav file into a powerpoint.  I can only get it to play once
then it does nothing when I go back to the same slide.  I insert files all
the time and this has not happened.  DO I have a setting I need to change?

This should help get "him" (or her!) off your back

Thanks! But I don't understand why my other audio files still work fine.  I
can play them over and over.  Even when I close the presentation and repoen
it, I can't access the audio I am losing.  I have to re-insert it, and then
it only plays once. I can't even get it play in the animation preview!

I changed my "allow audio linking" to 50 MB because my boss thought the
presentation might run more smoothly.  But then I changed it back when I
discovered this problem.  Could this be a factor?  Thanks again!

Kate

Do you want to send me the affected slide to look at?

Make sure the wav file is embedded before you send. The 50MB will not be the
problem so leave it there!

I think this should solve it:

Animations don't play when I go back to a slide
