Slides created with PowerPoint2000 disappear in PP2003

Some slides created with PowerPoint 2000 disappear when file is opened in
Powerpoint2003. The are replaced by empty slides. If this file is saved with
PP2003 they disappear permanently, but the file size indicates some contents.

Ptarg,
Have you installed all the Service Packs for Office 2003?  Go to Help -
Check for Updates and follow the links.

YES, it works (Service Pack2), also with some Word files, previously not
recognised by version 2003. Thanks, ptarg
