when trying to open an attachment with power point, i get the message (this
file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
Create an association in the Folder Options control panel). i can usually
save the attachment to a folder and then open it. i never had to do this
before installing a new tower. where is the Folder Options control panel? i
reloaded all my old programs in the new system including ofice for small
business. obviously i missed something. any help will be appreciated, thanks,

Larry,
You can find the folder options in Windows Explorer, click on the Tools
menu, at the bottom there is an item called Folder options, in the dialog
that appears choose the last tab file types I think it is called. You can
change file associations there.

problem in a flash. i wonder why microsoft doesn't show this fix on their pp
