After loading Technical Refresh, I can no longer open any files, new or old,
in any of the programs, Word Excel PowerPoint. Was not a problem till the
refresh. running updated Norton antivirus but it does not matter if it is
enable or turned off.

Help!!

Should have researched more, after disabling office plug in under Norton
antivirus, you must reboot!

everything is working now.

Can you tell me what you mean by "disabling office plug in under Norton
antivirus". I'm in the same situation. Everything worked in Beta 2 and fails
under B2TR just as your first post described.

OH, I get it. Open Norton, click on Miscellaneous. Un-check the Office
plug-in.
and THEN reboot.
Thanks
