I created a PPTX file in the O12 B2TR English Edition.  Yesterday I
uninstalled the previous O12 Edition, and then install the O12 B2TR
Simplified Chinese Edition. But after that I cannot open PPTX file created in
the previous edition. Did any body know how to solve this problem? Thanks!

This is a known issue. B2TR won't open all files created in B2.

The only way around it that I'm aware is to open the file in B2 and use
File|Save As to save it in the PPT 97-2003 format.

I'd look into the "File not found" section on my B2TR issues page. I bet
that you are running NAV. B2TR should open all files created in B2.

Ah, man. I thought this was the file format issue? I'm soooo confused! :-)

Congratulations. (I figured the Office System group would snag you, though!)

Miscommunication in the first 48 hrs of B2TR. It turned out eventually
that B2 files should open in B2TR and that it is a major problem if they
don't (worth bugging). B1 & B1TR files shouldn't open anymore though.

Thanks! I think the ON team just shouted the loudest :)

Ahhhh, got it. Thank you for clarifying. I left for PPTLive a day or so
after the TR came out, so I just caught the first 48 hours or so of initial
issues. I haven't waded through all the remaining beta stuff in detail since
returning, so I apparently managed to completely miss this one. And it's a
big one to have missed!

Read my B2TR post. That should get you up to speed with most B2TR
issues.

Hello Frank,
Did you take a look at the readme provided with B2TR? I would expect such
issues since this is a beta product and not a release. There are bugs in the
product and hence it is not advisable to use the beta product for production
work. If you still need the presentation you might try reinstalling the
older beta, openning the presentation and then saving as PPT 2003 format
instead of the new format.
