I am having trouble saving a custom template to the "my template" file,
as the instructions state. It tells me to run a compatibilty report.
When I do, it says "Links to movies, sounds or pictures might be lost
if you move your presentation to another computer" about 4 times and
then still won't let me bypass it. How do I fix this?

I'm not clear on what the "it" in "bypass it" means.  Can you simply save as a
template and tell it to take its compatibility check and pound sand?

Sounds like you're using a Mac version of PPT.  The name doesn't make it
obvious, but this group is mostly Windows PPT users.  There's a group just for
Mac PPT users where you're likely to get better/faster answers.  Assuming
you're on a Mac, that is.
