Can custom templates be imported into PowerPoint Design Templates

Can custom templates be imported into PowerPoint Design Templates menu? We
use the same template for many different purposes and would like to import
that custom template into the PowerPoint Availabe Templates file. Can it be
done? If so, how?

Make sure it is saved as a .pot (PowerPoint template) file. There is a
folder for design templates. Here is the usual path:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Presentation Designs

Drop the file in this folder and you should be good to go.
