I can link my excel data to the ms graph datasheet for a chart in Powerpoint
and it updates just fine.

But what if I do not know the name of the source file in Excel?  The links
command doesn't show the link.  But the software knows it is there.  Can
someone help me locate the info?

Hi,

You have to have the PowerPoint chart open, and you also have to select the
data sheet. Then go to Edit, Links and the option is available.
