mhtml Displaying incorrectly

Within our company we have users who publish mhtml files to SharePoint
Libraries.  Up until a month ago these files displayed correctly.  Can
anybody let me know what might have changed with a server fix or any other
reason?

Hi.  It makes sense to ask here, since PowerPoint is presumably involved in
creating the mhtml files, but I'd also ask in the SharePoint areas.  When you
do that, include more detail.  "Incorrectly" covers a lot of territory;  narrow
that down by describing what you mean.  Better yet, include a link to a
screenshot or to the MHT file itself so people can see what you mean.

Try to backtrack and list what's changed between the last time the files
displayed correctly and the first time you became aware of the problem.

And do all mht files display incorrectly now or just those created recently?

If files that previously displayed ok suddenly display incorrectly now, then
the problem's not likely to be at the creation end (ie, in PPT, Word, etc).

Yes, it is a PowerPoint question or maybe an Internet Explorer question.  At
first I thought it had to do with the Server that was hosting the PowerPoint
slide, but I actually copied the file down to my local machine and saved as a
(Single File Web page).  I have also saved the file as an html document and
the same issue occurs.

Issue - The issue is that the image is very distorted compared to the view
within PowerPoint (.PPT).  My client stated that the image used to display
exactly as it did in the PPT, but over the last month the (Single File Web
Page) started to display distorted, which then leads me down the path, “Is
this an Internet Explorer 6.0 issue?”

It might be an IE question. I think Steve's advice is pretty accurate.

Can you explain what you mean by "distorted"? Remember, we can't see what
you see there....
