I’m having MAJOR compatibility issues when making even simple 2003 .ppt’s on my windows machine when they go to a user in Mac land. What’s the deal? Today: I had a simple 17 slides show with 2 videos ( wmv’s ) on just 2 of the slides. Now, I could understand problems if the Mac person couldn’t play the file outside of PP but they can – just fine. So why is it that when they play the SS the video don’t play ( well, that’s not exactly true, the audio stutters along with no video ) ? Yes, the movies are in the same folder and yes, they have PP 2003 with all the latest updates. This is just one example of the Mac Windows issues I’m having. PPT 2003 only runs on Windows; can we assume they have 2004? The fact that the sound plays means that it's finding the file, so the links aren't a problem. WMV is a Windows file format, not likely to work well on the Mac as I understand it.
