Can I interrupt a looped slides to go to a slide outside the loop.

I'm looping slides 1-5 to run continuously before an event. At some point,
I'll have to interrupt the loop to go to other slides not included in the
loop.
If I type the slide number and hit return, I go to the last slide in the
loop and the cycle continues.
