How will my desktop screen appear after the last slide in ppt. I do not want the file to open after the last slide Not exactly sure what you are asking, but if you do a "File", "Save as" and change to a "pps" (PowerPoint Slideshow) file and save it on your Desktop when you double-click the file and run it, once it closes your Desktop is showing. Also, make sure you have the "End with black slide" option unchecked under "Tools", "Options". If this isn't what you needed, holler back!
