I currently have a picture of space that I have placed behind animated text.
I want the picture to slowly "drift" rotate 15 degrees over 10 to 25 seconds.
the problem comes in when I want the text on this slide to keep advancing
throughout this gradual turn. How do I do two things at once?

Hi,

Depends on PowerPoint version. With 2002 and 2003 you can set any animation
to run "With previous" which means your text would move at the same time as
your image.
