File Open Window Default View (set to details)

I have tried all of the suggestions, but I cannot get the default view to
stay at DETAILS.  It always goes back to Preview.  Has anyone figured it out
yet?

Thanks for the info, but buying additional software isn't an option.  For
now, I guess we'll just use Windows Explorer to open the presentations using
the detail view and keep our fingers crossed that MS will make a change in an
updated version!
