Which task pane in Ppoint merges cliparts in a slide?

I was told by a friend that you can "merge" several cliparts to an effect of
a single one.  She said that you select a clipart and mark the routing.

Are you talking about using similar clip art(s) to create and animation
sequence? If so, go to:

Slide Show > Custom Animation > Add Effect.  You'll want to use both
entrance and exit effects.

Does that make sense?

What do you mean by "merge"?  Insert???

Your question is a bit vague but..

You can ctrl click several clip art objects and group them
You can save as a picture by right clicking
You can use organise clips (at the bottom of the clip art pane) to make the
new clip art available and use the drop down menu right of the preview to
edit key search words etc
