I have several sound files on one slide in powerpoint presentation. How to i
stop each sound file and move on to the next one without jumping to the next
slide?

Hi
Have the slide visible in the normal slide view. Display your Task Pane and
goto the Custom Animiation pane. If animated the item on the slided will
have an aimation trigger. Click on the sound file icon and check what the
options are in terms of how it is activated. One of the options should be
to "Start on Click".
Hope that helps.

Hi Dee
Insert your sounds using insert>movies and music > sounds from file - play
automatically option
In the custom animation pane you should have several "after previous"
animations
Change all but the first to on click and make sure that all have stop on
click in effects tab. Sound will change each time you click.
If you want timed sound changes in custom animation add effect > sound
action > stop to all sounds and drag the entrys so it looks like
sound 1 play
sound 1 stop
sound 2 play
sound 2 stop etc
make all with previous and set suitable delays in the timing tab.
