You can select and drag the individual labels around, but that's about it, as
far as I know. But you can also ungroup the chart and edit all of the shapes
that make it up individually. Warning: it ceases to be a chart when you
ungroup, so you'll want to keep a copy of the original, perhaps on a hidden
slide or in another presentation.
What specific trouble are you having with the data displays? Don't be afraid of
detail. We love swimming in it. But just "having trouble" leaves us high 'n
dry. <g>

The data display problem was some weird glitch - I changed the default
format and everything is fine now. The leader line issue is a bit annoying -
it's not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice if they matched up better as we
want to make the transition to Powerpoint but keep the general format.
