Show/hide paragraph marks in PowerPoint

Is there a way to display the formatting codes in PowerPoint text boxes and
placeholders, like paragraph marks, tabs, etc., like you can in Word?

Unfortunately, no.  It'd be quite convenient at times, wouldn't it?
