Can I password protect selected content on a single PPT slide?

Is it possible to create PPT where certain content on a slide is protected
but other content can be changed?

if you create the whole page as a single image then it makes it very
difficult to edit.

Create your whole page in powerpoint

then just 'do a screengrab' and paste it back it
