How can i set up a hyperlink and view it on powerpoint?

i am having some difficulties setting up the powerpoint hyperlink to the web.
there is a video i want to attach to the hyperlink and i want it to pop up
on the slide. do i have to download the video somehow? or is there a way for
me to do the above?

Red,

Do you have the video file that you want to view?

Why not just 'insert > movies > from file' while in powerpoint. It's much
easier.

The video will then be played during a slideshow right in powerpoint - no
pop ups needed
