You are a GREAT help! I will try this. My situation is rather unique. Users
will be taking their own Word document and then sending it to their own
PowerPoint document on their PC. I am trying to find a way to easily
distribute this macro so they can install it easily on their own PowerPoint
so it is available prior to sending the document from Word into PowerPoint.
Do you know if I can add this macro to a Design Template, then run the macro
AFTER the Word document has been sent to PowerPoint? Does the extra
"non-Heading" text get stored hidden in the PowerPoint presentation or must
this macro be immediately running as the Send-To function is creating the
PowerPoint file?
Thanks again.

Not as is, but given code that works in PPT, you can generally incorporate it in a Word
or Excel macro or in some other application.
In the Programming section of http://www.pptfaq.com there are some examples of
automating one app from another.
Does the extra
