I'm using powerpoint version X for mac, on a Macbook with Tiger OSX
10.4.8.  While I can use microsoft word and excel perfectly, whenever I
open powerpoint, it crashes within a few seconds.  Does anybody know
how to fix this?

You'll want to post to the Mac PPT group. I know it's really not obvious,
but we're mostly PC users here.

microsoft.public.mac.office.powerpoint should get you better answers than we
could give.
Alternate link:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/community/community.aspx?pid=community (you'll
get here if you type in http://www.mactopia.com and hit the Community link
on the left. I assume it'll work with various browsers on the Mac. <sheepish
grin>)
