I would like to run two power point 2003 shows at same time. One has general
knowledge, basic teaching, the other has specific questions on the material
just presented. I now put all slides (questions) at the end of the general
show and record their slide numbers and use number pad and enter to go to
that slide and same to return. Is there an easer way? I sometimes forget
which slide I started from! (senior moment) :(
ps. I am fairly new to PPT
Hi,
It might be easier to use buttons that link to slides that have more
information. That is, on a slide, have, say, 3 buttons that have a Action
Setting (right click on the object to find the action setting button), and
use the On-click to hyperlink to the particular slide.
Now, on the target slides that have the extra information, you will probably
want to get back to where you left off. Have a button there that links to
"Last slide viewed". That is, Action settings, mouse click tab, hyperlink
to, last slide viewed.
If you need more help, please holler back.

Hi Fred
Easiest way to do this is to make each question slide (or group of slides)
in a custom show
Slide show > custom show > add new
Then use a button with action setting to hyperlink to custom show with "show
and return clicked"
When you click the button the custom show will play and when it gets to the
end of the slide or custom show it will return to the slide you linked from!

Did that answer the question / help?
