On the slide master, it says "between the title box and the main text bod, draw a horizontal line across the entire width of the slide. Change the line weight to 3-point and the line color to light yellow. I e-mailed the same question to my instructor. I was building a powerpoint and that was one of the things it told me to do in the instructions. It was not covered in my "Microsoft Micromputer class." I figured after an hour to try and get some help, if not from source then where can one get help. After signing off, I decided to try again and I got it! Maybe I was just tired of trying. Its a good thing your not an instructor, most of the ones I know are more than willing to help when a student has a question. No one asked you to do the assignment. This was a mistake to ask in the first place I would never do it again. Does microsoft know you answer your questions like that? Thanks for __________! We don't answer questions concerning homework here because you, and others, would not really learn how to use the system that MS has provided. It is called Help and is accessed in most programs by pressing the F1 key or clicking on the help tab at the top of the program. Now, I started PPT 2003 and typed lines and got all the help that would be possible to get on the subject. I thought why not, maybe someone there knows what I am talking about. As I mentioned I found out how to do it by trial and error. Not from this site, or from "HELP," this site was a only a resource, which is useless. By the way what kind of site is this? What kind of questions, can you, and do you answer? It came from Microsoft office website, I assumed it was there to help people, at any level of learning. What does it make any difference if I am a student or a person who bought the program and was using a home self study guide? Or is the answer unknown to the people answering from this site, and it's just as easy to say we don't do homework questions? I suppose if you would have asked the question in a manner other than the way you did, you more than likely would have received a proper reply. If you look at your question and think about it should be quite simple, with the key word being "Master" drawing a line and changing it's weight is quite simple. Yes Microsoft does monitor these replies. Yes, it was a homework question, does it matter who you help, or what you help someone learn today. I was building a powerpoint that was an assignment with many things that I was to do to the powerpoint. I only asked for help with one thing. Being the good student I am I use every resource avilable to me. I will copy these posting and show them to my instructor and the class, I am sure everyone could use a good laugh.
