I would like some advice on what microphone would be suitable
for high quality recording of narrations in powerpoint.
Ideally I would like to record my lectures "live" for distance
education students.  I have read that USB mikes are generally better
quality,
and so something like a remote USB microphone would be good.  Something
like a lapel style rather than a full headset would be prferable (I don't
want to be
delivering lectures to internal students while wearing a headset!).  I guess
the
problem is I cannot find anything along these lines on the web anywhere.
Any suggestions?
cheers
Bill

I do audio engineering on the side and keep up with microphone technology.  I
haven't run across a usb lapel mike, but you might want to consider a
headset--headphones and mike.  Sennheiser PC135 and 145 are both good (IMHO,
Sennheiser makes the world's best headphones).  They run about 80-90,
respectively.
