I want to change the default printing setting for powerpoint documetnts from
Picture to 2-slides per page. So when I right-click a powerpoint file and
choose "Print" it should not be printed on the form "Picture".

Should I change any registry setting?

You could try this (works for me but some others told me it doesnt for them)
With a blank presentation tools>options > print -set what you want
Save as > save as type = design template name = blank

Close ppt and open again

Did that answer the question / help?
