In PP (2003 or 2007) I notice that when inserting a hyperlink to a page
within the current document that there is a box that says "Show and Return".
However, it is grayed out when I am adding the hyperlink.
This is ture in 2003 or 2007 PP.
What am I missing?
How can I access this capability.
When I attempt to hyperlink to a slide within current presenatation in
brings me back to where I started, however it goes into the edit mode rather
than slide mode.

"show and return" is used when linking to a custom show

There's an example here http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/secondhyper.html

This setting only applies when you link to a Custom Show.
