Hello All,
Here's a little background. I have about 20 movie clips I am trying
to add to Powerpoint.I have already edited and exported the clips using
Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and using the Adobe media encoder to exports to
WMV's (2.1 Mbps NTSC quality).  Everyone of these clips plays great in
WM11 and inside the powerpoint.

Next I would like to put two or three of these clips on each slide
totaling about 9 slides.  So when a person gets to a slide they can
click on a video it will turn full screen (using the Edit Movie Object
| and selecting the checkbox for Play in Full Screen) and play.  After
the clip is done they will be on the same slide so they can watch the
other clips. The problem I am having is after the full screen clip is
done playing the PowerPoint just displays a big black screen.  I then
have to click to get out of this and it advances to the next slide.

I have tried nearly every work around I can think of, using custom
animations, making the video on a different slide with picture
hyperlinks, slide transition timings, etc.  and still the big black
screen appears after playing the WMV's in Full Screen.  Any ideas??

I hope you were not looking for an easy answer...

Here is how I create this effect:

1. Create a new blank slide
2. Set the transition to automatically after 2 seconds
3. Hide the slide (so you do not advance into it by mistake)
4. Copy this slide as many times as you have movies (~20)
5. Insert each movie on one of these slides, full screen, set to
automatically play
6. Create a single-slide custom show for each of the movie slides with 'Show
and return' selected
7. Create your menu slide(s) of images
8. Hyperlink the images to the custom shows

You will end up with about 29 slides, but only the 9 menu slides will be
unhidden.  During a show, clicking on the linked images on the menu slides
will show the movie then return to the slide that launched it.
