Does anyone know if the word count field under Properties/Statistics also
includes words in notes, or if it shows only the words in the slides?

Is there any other means to count characters with spaces, as in Word, for
PPT presentations?

Thnaks in advance for any help on this.

In the spirit of teaching the art of fishing rather than tossing sardines ...

Try it.  Start with a blank presentation, add a bunch of text to some notes
page and see what Statistics says.
