I am trying to finish a project by adding music from a CD to my slides.
Slides 1-6 have the same song and the next couple slides have its own
individual song. When I get to the next set of slides that has one song set
to those the song only plays for the first slide and doesn't carry on to the
others. Everything is set up the same in the second set like the first set of
slides I did. Can anyone help me quickly my deadline is monday afternoon?
THANK YOU

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

I tried everythingin the attachment that I could and I still can't get it to
work. I tried ripping the music to the computer but it doesnt save as a file
I can use in powerpoint I can only open the songs in window media player. I
even tried editing the number of slides to play the songs to more then what I
needed but it didn't work  I don't understand why it works on the first set
of slides and not the others. When a new set of slides to one song starts it
will play the beginning of the song until the transition of the next slide
then there is no sound at all.

How do you have the sounds set up to play? What settings have you used in
PPT?

It also sounds like the reason it's not ripping is because Windows Media
Player adds digital rights management stuff to the file. So if it's
copyrighted material, you might not be able to use it in PPT.

I have the sound to start from the beginning after the number of slides and I
have the volume hid while not playing. I also have it on hide after
animation. In the time tab I have it to start after previous with no delay or
repeat. When I right click and go to edit sound, for audio CD I have it set
when i want it to start and stop playing in the song.
This is my first time using powerpoint since high school.

Try putting 999 in the "after number of slides" setting instead of the real
number of slides.
